I haven't previously looked at Flash Lite development. I must confess i have been a little blinkered by the new features in flash 8, as a result the idea of 'down grading' my scripting to what appears to be a mish mash of flash 4 and flash 5 ActionScript 1 did not really appeal.
However, i have been keeping a little eye on the uptake and it does seem that its time to start adding Flash Lite to the quiver of my skills. Especially when the devices you get to work on are as cool as these little beauties.
First up is a Mobile from Sony, i currently use the K750i, and i have posted my admiration for the quality of of the phone and also the camera. Well Sony are about to update, and revamp the K750i/W800 phones with the W900i. It sports the same 2m pixel camera, but also has all the benefits of a 3G connection and the Flash Lite player embedded. Not only that but i also notice it makes use of SVG as well. The only thing i don't see listed is the Video Quality or limitations. The K750i has an annoying 'feature' that only allows tiny 15(ish) second video clips to be recorded, regardless of the amount of storage you have avaliable.

Secondly there is the iRiver U10. A personal media player that not only has support for the Flash Lite player and content but in fact its main UI is developed in Flash Lite. Details of the device can be found on iRivers site. Here

Also Adobe (Macromedia) has posted a page that in the future looks like it will have the required resources to develop to the iRiver Platform. Watch this space.
