Obviously none of the art he ever produces will affect the world and be as relevant over time as applications like Flickr etc.

I&#039;d seen most of the work he showed beforehe spoke, not knowing the work was his. The works is great, but for how long, 10-15 mins? Certainly not 25 years! The most interesting thing about his work for me is how well its all executed, something he totally skipped in his talk.

He should change his list and add &#039;useful&#039; to the top, and simple accept he aint never gonna change the world making art.

That said, I&#039;m really not so sure why everyone was so offended by one persons misguided opinion, and the reaction that he was confronted by in person wasn&#039;t called for. We all allowed to say things other might not like (and it&#039;s a good job else i&#039;d be in real trouble if we weren&#039;t allowed).</description>
